Rural Billing - What's New in 5.0

Below is a listing of new features offered in the latest version of Rural Billing.

Streamlined Interface
The various 'views' of the Rural Billing system have been enhanced to ensure that information is easily viewed and common day-to-day functionality is at your fingertips.
On-Screen Searching
Rural Billing now offers the ability to search by simply entering criteria on the account screen itself! Simply select the desired search from the dropdown list located in the upper right portion of the account screen, enter your information and press enter.
Function and Reporting Links
Several of the Rural Billing views now contain links to common and reporting functionality.
Simply -click- and you're there.
Reporting
  • Daily Deposit report now prints deposit listing (checks, cash, total) for use in deposits.
  • Reports now handle electric meters where applicable
  • New Monthly Billing report now available
    • Billing
  • Now bill stub messages can be customized (Redline formats only)
  • Miscellaneous charges may now be applied or reversed by route number
  • Bill printing may now be filtered by specifying a minimum balance
    • Routemate Handheld
    The handheld download can now be configured to send/omit the previous reading from the handheld screen
    Payments
    Specific payment designation may now be selected when accepting payments instead of allowing automatic distribution.
